Statutory guidance on careers

In May 2025 DfE published updated statutory guidance for schools, and guidance for further education colleges, sixth form colleges and  ITPs.

The guidance supported the updated Gatsby Benchmarks going live in September 2025 and supports the Government's ambition to introduce a guarantee of two weeks’ worth of work experience for every young person.
